Why do you need to be righteous? How do you actually get righteousness? So often we feel anxious about our moral status before God or feel we need to get everything right in order to be righteous. We might even be afraid becoming "self-righteous" or associate it with being judgemental and steer clear of the topic altogether. The Bible, however, says that righteousness is an essential free GIFT given by God through Faith, and that if we would receive it, it would begin to completely transform our lives.
